Monday 9AM

YIN YOGA & MEDITATION

This wonderful practice is for all levels – from total newbies to experienced practitioners, to recovering athletes and seniors. A lovely way to reconnect with your spirit within – when we slow down physically, we have more space to devote internally.


We will begin with a sweet Meditation followed by a Yin Practice. Yin Yoga works deep into the connective tissues to activate change at the deepest level. We will gently stretch these tissues to rehabilitate our joints, by holding poses from 2 to 10 minutes. This allows a progressive opening of the connective tissue as well as the softening of the muscles as you breathe deeply and relax.


This is a deeply-relaxing yoga class where students practice breathing and letting go in passive yoga postures. "Yin" poses are low-to-the-ground and supported by pads and blankets so that you can let go of all tension and surrender completely to gravity.


Yin practice is of great benefit for athletes and those with tight muscles and limited range-of-motion. It is also deeply restorative and stress-relieving for both mind and body.


You will leave class feeling a deep sense of Peace and Connection.

Wednesday 9AM

GENTLE HATHA YOGA

Suitable for all levels, Gentle Hatha is a slower pace, calming yet active practice in a nurturing, compassionate environment.


This class includes breathing techniques, gentle flowing movements, seated, standing and supine poses allow for both strengthening and stretching. Props and modifications are offered to allow students to access poses with integrity and ease to the best of their ability.


It is a perfect class for beginners, those with physical limitations, or more experienced students preferring a gentler practice.

YIN YOGA

This wonderful practice is for any level student or a beginner as well. The focus for this class is more on the connective tissues that form around our joints. While gently stretching this tissue by holding poses for long minutes, we rehabilitate our joints.


Yin Yoga is a deeply-relaxing yoga class where students practice breathing and letting go in passive yoga postures. "Yin" poses are low-to-the-ground and supported by pads and blankets so that you can let go of all tension and surrender completely to gravity. Because of their passive nature, Yin Yoga poses can be held for longer durations of 2-10 minutes or more. This allows a progressive opening of the connective tissue as well as the softening of the muscles as you breathe deeply and relax.


Yin practice is of great benefit for athletes and those with tight muscles and limited range-of-motion. It is also deeply restorative and stress-relieving for both mind and body. Yin Yoga can be safely practiced by those with most physical injuries or limitations.
