Welcome to my online yoga studio! I am so happy you have chosen to practice with me during this time of uncertainty. Taking care of your Mind, Body and Spirit is essential right now and I am honored to be a resource of support, love and healing for you. 

Once you book your class, you will have the option to pay for a Single Class for $16 or a Class Package which includes 10 classes for $140. You can pay directly via the website or can send me payment via Venmo or Zelle.  I will email your Zoom link prior to class.

If you have pre-paid for a 10 Class Package or are paying via Venmo or Zelle, please choose the "Pay in Person" option when you book your class. I will then apply your payment to your account.  Thank you!

Monday

YIN & MEDITATION

with Prema

We begin this class in Guided Meditation. Then we will begin our Yin posture sequence which is slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.

 

Yin yoga focuses on stimulating the connective tissues and joints, improving the flow of Chi or Prana through these areas. This is accomplished through passive holding of specific postures for 3-5 minutes, using the breath to ease the body further into the pose.

 

The Yin postures are not difficult to hold for these periods of time and are frequently supported by props to allow you to release and relax. I support you during this time with specific breathing cues, affirmations and readings from inspirational texts.

 

Yin yoga is very meditative and can be a perfect complement to a more active yoga practice.

 

A great class for all levels of practitioners!

Wednesday

GENTLE HATHA

with Prema

This Gentle Hatha Class will incorporate gentle stretching with easeful flow at a slower pace to accommodate all levels of practitioners.

 

Beginners and seniors will benefit greatly from this class while more experienced practitioners that want to slow down the pace may benefit as well.

 

Props will be liberally suggested to help you find good alignment and ease in the poses as well as allowing you to experience poses that might otherwise be unavailable.

 

This gentle and nurturing class will get you moving and ready to face your day with calmness and ease.

YIN YOGA

Begin your weekend with Peace!

In order to get the most out of your practice, I suggest having the following set up prior to class:

1.  Set yourself up in a quiet, clean space

 

2. Make sure you let your loved ones know how long your class is and ask that they respect your quiet time.

 

3. It is best not to eat at least 2-hours prior to practicing yoga. If you must eat, make sure that it is a very light meal such as a piece of fruit. Drinking water, tea or coffee is fine at least 15 minutes before. It is best to use the bathroom prior to class. 

 

4. I often encourage the use of props. It is always good to have the following available for every class:

  • 3 Blankets or Towels

  • 2 Bolsters or Large cushions (bolsters are a good investment. You can find affordable ones on Amazon or Hugger Mugger.)

  • 1 Small Cushion or blanket to sit on

  • 2 Blocks (also a really good investment. You can find inexpensive ones on Amazon, Hugger Mugger and I have also seen them in TJ Maxx and Marshalls) 

  • Yoga Mat

  • Yin and Restorative Yoga are practiced mostly on the ground, Gentle Hatha you will be in standing poses. You can use a thicker, cushier mat for Yin and Restorative, but will need a regular yoga mat for Gentle Hatha.

  • I will occasionally email a music playlist via Spotify with your Zoom link. You can listen for free but there will be advertisement between songs which might distract you. I think the Premium plan is $9.99/ month which may be worthwhile.

5. Please take care of yourself. Listen to your body, if something doesn't feel good, trust that. You can always get in touch with me after class with any questions. I am here to support you.
