YIN YOGA & MEDITATION
This wonderful practice is for all levels – from total newbies to experienced practitioners, to recovering athletes and seniors. A lovely way to reconnect with your spirit within – when we slow down physically, we have more space to devote internally.
We will begin with a sweet Meditation followed by a Yin Practice. Yin Yoga works deep into the connective tissues to activate change at the deepest level. We will gently stretch these tissues to rehabilitate our joints, by holding poses from 2 to 10 minutes. This allows a progressive opening of the connective tissue as well as the softening of the muscles as you breathe deeply and relax.
This is a deeply-relaxing yoga class where students practice breathing and letting go in passive yoga postures. "Yin" poses are low-to-the-ground and supported by pads and blankets so that you can let go of all tension and surrender completely to gravity.
Yin practice is of great benefit for athletes and those with tight muscles and limited range-of-motion. It is also deeply restorative and stress-relieving for both mind and body.
You will leave class feeling a deep sense of Peace and Connection.
MANTRA FLOW YOGA
Join Prema Posner every Wednesday morning at 9am for Mantra Yoga Flow. This unique, spirit lifting, empowering and joy filled class will have your soul beaming.
Chanting mantras has the power to uplift, shift and transform us to new heights. Chanting in a group is one of the most powerful tools for healing and manifesting we have available to us. When we come together with clear intentions and chant sacred sounds that support and connect us, we are filled with joy, inspiration and love.
In this class, we chant mantras together as Prema plays the harmonium. We then transition into a delicious and nourishing asana flow. The class ends in Savasana while Prema chants to you as you drift off into a state of bliss.
By making shifts to our inner world of vibration through sound, our inner rhythms of harmony and joy manifest outwardly and over time our inner and outer experience mirror each other in a beautiful way.
This class is accessible to all levels.
Gentle Hatha is for everyone.Teaching the fundamentals of yoga, using all the benefits, concentrating on breath, proper alignment and core development, done at an easy pace with individual attention. Practice will improve your concentration, challenge you physically, and create peace of mind leaving you will feeling more energized, relaxed, and balanced.
The class contains all components of a traditional yoga class and is perfect for beginners or any level and those who desire a gentle and mindful practice.
The soothing and well-supported poses of this practice offer us the opportunity to linger quietly for awhile and savor the simple sweetness of life.The supported postures and breath leave us nourished and restored.This class is especially designed for those that love to relax and renew.
This slower, meditative style of yoga allows the body, mind and spirit to move back into balance.The stretching and deeply relaxing poses will do wonders for you! This class is perfect for those newer to yoga, who have injuries or chronic pain, or maybe just prefer a slower pace. You will leave with a renewed sense of peace and your body and mind will thank you!
This class is for beginners and all levels of practice who want to benefit from the delicious poses while enjoying affirmations & meditations!
This wonderful practice is for any level student or a beginner as well. The focus for this class is more on the connective tissues that form around our joints. While gently stretching this tissue by holding poses for long minutes,we rehabilitate our joints.
